The property felt like a real home rather than a holiday let. Its really well furnished with really interesting antiques and art. The views from the terrace are fantastic and it is really quiet and peaceful. Nicolas the host was really helpful and attentive. He made us feel really welcome and provided useful information to make our stay more enjoyable"

This is a lovely property that provided my wife and I a beautiful holiday in the lovely village of Ermita Nueva. Ideally located in the hills so you can see for miles and miles, with a fantastic view of Alcala la Real castle - which is worth a visit. Has everything you need in a holiday property, including Nicolas who is an excellent and very entertaining host. Very much recommended and very happy to have had the pleasure of staying there. Our two week break was fantastic. Very good at topping up the batteries, so very peaceful and tranquil. Nicolas is very friendly, professional and gave us some excellent tips for the local area. The night sky was breathtaking with very little to zero light pollution. The villa has all the amenities, out of this world views with the looks and feel of a home, a real home."

I can honestly say that the stay at Nicolas' place was excellent. It was ideal for the entire seven day period. It was quiet, it was peaceful and it was so tranquil! Nicolas was a great host and was always checking in on us via phone to see if we were ok which I would expect from a host. The view from the pool was so dramatic, especially at night when the La Mota fortress was lit up was spectacular! I will most definitely visit again as it really was a relaxing holiday and seriously recharged my batteries. Thank you Nicolas once again, you have a wonderful house! The owner gave us some great local recommendations and couldn’t have been more helpful at the end of our stay when we had a problem with our hire car. Fantastic views from terrace. The meeting point was odd but necessary as we would have struggled to find the villa on our own. (the shop appears to be closed permanently). It is isolated but that suited us. Owner and the dogs friendly and very informative and its like he was lending us his home."

We didnt know what to expect. The drive up to the property was a bit hair raising, but we soon got used to it. We were met by the owner, who was very friendly and informative. He showed us round the property. We were delighted, it was so homely and traditional. The owner had also left us some food basics to welcome us, which was very much appreciated. Then we saw the view. Over to the fortress at Alcala la Real. Magnificent and even better when lit up at night, and talking of night....the stars were AMAZING. The pool was lovely and clean and a great size. My family and I really enjoyed the two weeks we had in Casa Nicolas. Placed in the middle of olive groves in the Jaen Province the facilities were excellent, the pool temp was spot on and the lounge bedrooms and bathrooms were just what was needed. Really close to a big supermarket (15mins) and just about 30mins to Grenada although the roads to get into Grenada we never made sense of. Definitely need a car for the villa but the villa itself was great. Great holiday in a beautiful part of the world."
