Wonderfully private rural villa with views, pool and WiFi near Ronda

We were super happy with the house and location. As others have mentioned the beds are very comfy which is always great. AC in the bedroom without AC would make a great addition to the property IMO. Thanks for having us - we had a great time!"

Absolutely amazing villa. Really loved our week there...the pool and the views were great.... couldn't fault the accommodation whatsoever. Spotlessly clean and everything you needed was there....even did a few clothes washes. If arriving on a Saturday please be aware no supermarkets open on a Sunday for supplies. Also, the nearest village is within walking distance but no kerbs or street lights so not really practical to walk. There was two beautiful cats (I'm not a cat person, Mrs is) who visited us everyday/evening, we fed them and so must others as cat food left in the villa. Please do the same and if post a review let us know that they are ok please. Overall I totally recommend this place for people who want to chill and some solitude....spent evenings out front watching thunder storms and BBQs round the back with music and wine and plenty of skinny dipping.... perfect....hope you have as good a time as we did"

We loved this house. Plenty of shade. Great pool. Great views. Very quiet. Quick drive into town for emergency shopping and breakfast. The village locals were very welcoming. Host Yolande was superb. The Aircon was a great feature as it was a very hot week. Two lovely cats live there. They do need to be neutered as we counted 5 others including a pregnant female."

Spotlessly clean and in good proximity to El Gastor which is easily walkable. Pool terrace was lovely. A guest book would be a useful addition to swap notes for future guests. You have to like cats, or make the (difficult) decision at the beginning of the holiday to not feed them."

We spent a lovely week at this beautiful property. Immaculately kept, with the most stunning terrace area, gorgeous views and somewhere to relax at every time of day. The kids loved the jacuzzi the local cats! I loved picking figs for breakfast every morning. Great host who was always on hand for any questions and fabulous location for visiting Cadiz, Jerez Ronda not to mention the lovely local town of El Gastor. High recommend!"

Myself, my husband and our 11 year old spent 2 weeks at this wonderful villa in August and all agreed it was the best holiday we've ever had. The villa itself had everything we needed, was very comfortable and spotless. The outside area was superb, lots of seating areas and shady / sunny spots. The pool was used every day and sitting on the terrace in the evening watching the sun set was a highlight. The BBQ was brilliant and we cooked a lot. Close to Ronda which was beautiful and we also managed 2 trips to Seville. We were big fans of the little cat who came to visit every day! While we never met the villa owners, Yolanda was so helpful and happy to converse over WhatsApp. Instructions for getting to the villa and using everything were very clear. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, if you have booked this villa, you're in for a treat. We didn't want to come home"

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Benitez. The staff at Rustical Travel were very helpful and efficient sending out some very useful information prior to our trip. Yolanda was a great host. She was quick to respond to any problems and provided some helpful suggestions. The villa was perfect for the needs of our party of 3 adults. The beds were very comfortable. The outside pool area was wonderful and the jacuzzi a lovely addition. The views from the property were superb. Our only criticisms were - the kitchen was under-equipped. More crockery would be welcome together with a choice of serving dishes and little items such as salad servers would be welcome. A modern toaster would also be appreciated. I think the villa would feel cramped with more than 3 adults staying - the twin bedded room lacked storage space and an additional bathroom or, at least an additional toilet, would be an advantage. Generally we very much enjoyed our stay and would consider booking with Rustical Travel again."

Property is in a beautiful area views are amazing. Nice quiet great place just to relax unwind from the world, but still within easy drive to shops restaurants. Slight problem with water pressure we had no hot water for 4 days but it didn't spoil the holiday I think this also affected other properties in the area so not really the owners fault not much they could do about it (the owner explained a neighbour higher up the valley was the cause of the problem as they have had issues previously). Despite this we would still go back."

We loved the quiet location. Everything was very clean and the house well equipped. Our favorite place to relax was the loungebed on the terrace. The beautiful white villages and Sevilla are close as well as the Grazalema National park where we made some beautiful hikes. Every day we saw the majestic vultures circling the sky. We can highly recommend this villa!"

This is the 2nd time we have used Rustical Travel. Please please book this property IT IS FANTASTIC. My wife book up for my 50th and we where not disappointed, if your looking for tranquillity and privacy this is the place, the villa is well equipped with a good sized pool, views to die for and a romantic sunset every night oh and not to far from El Gastor. Mason los cuńaos is a must. A car is a must too if you need a supermarket go to olvera."

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Benitez. The family were very welcoming and helpful. We loved relaxing by the pool, surrounded by amazing views. The location was great for visiting Ronda and Seville. The village of El Gastor was a short drive and has a lovely panaderia selling freshly baked bread and cakes. We recommend Restaurante al Lago for a delicious lunch with views of the lake at Zahara de la Sierra. We would love to return."

We had a super time at Villa RD39. It had a wonderful character and was perfectly located for trips to Ronda, Zahara etc. The pool was superb as was the raised viewing area - perfect for eating or sharing a glass of wine. The owners were there to meet us on arrival and were really helpful and friendly. The villa had good facilities - although it was a little thin on kitchen utensils etc. Generally though this is an excellent villa that we would definitely return to again."

What a wonderful villa! We've stayed in many villas throughout Spain and France and this is certainly one if the best. The facilities, beautiful pool, and tranquil setting all made a perfect holiday. The Family are so friendly and everything that you need is provided -you literally need your suitcases and food! The location is great to visit several of the gorgeous white villages plus Ronda and Seville. We had a fantastic time here and will definitely return."

Just want to say a massive thank you from all us who stayed in RD39 for 2 weeks of fantastic scenery and sun. The villa was everything we could have wished for - a dream come true set in wonderful olive groves festooned with colourful wild flowers. It is one holiday that will live with us all forever. Can you also pass on our thanks to Antonio, Mercedes and Yolanda for keeping the villa in a top class condition and for also being so friendly and helpful. The villa and area made so much of an impression on us that we hope to return to El Gastor hopefully to the same villa in 2015."

We had the most amazing time at this wonderful secluded villa with stunning views and amazing flowers. We have rented several villas in Spain and this was by far the best. The owners were extremely welcoming on our first day.( then we were left completely alone for the rest of the week which we loved ) The villa was spotless and well equipped.
