Overview

If you're looking for a tranquil escape that offers both privacy and proximity to modern conveniences, this property in Sierra Norte of Seville might just be the perfect retreat for you.

Located just an hour north of Seville’s vibrant city centre, the villa is nestled in an area that feels like a hidden gem, providing a peaceful refuge from the hustle and bustle while remaining within walking distance of a charming local town.

One of the main advantages of this villa is the balance it strikes between being immersed in nature and having access to local amenities.

While you can enjoy the serenity and privacy of the countryside, the town’s excellent bars, restaurants, and other facilities are just a short walk away. Whether you want a quiet evening in the villa or a night out sampling local cuisine, this location offers the best of both worlds.

The property itself is well-suited for groups, particularly those who value both communal and personal space.

The villa features a main house with four bedrooms and an annexe with four additional en-suite bedrooms. This layout offers flexibility for groups with varying needs, allowing some guests to enjoy their own space while still having the option to come together for shared meals or activities.

The local manager confirmed that several outdoor tables can be arranged so everyone can dine together, adding to the villa’s appeal for family or group gatherings.

Another common concern when vacationing in this region, especially during the hotter months, is the temperature.

However, we found that while the villa doesn't have air conditioning, the local climate is more forgiving than in Seville. The owner assured us that the thick walls of the house help maintain a cool interior, and nighttime temperatures are typically comfortable, even in summer.

One of the standout features of this villa is its stylish, luxurious feel. It isn’t a standard, off-the-shelf rental with generic decor. Instead, the design choices reflect a thoughtful, stylish approach, with high-quality touches throughout, including top-notch mattresses that ensure a comfortable night’s sleep.

It’s a property that offers a real sense of character, with an understated luxury that makes it stand out from more conventional holiday homes.

Overall, this property is ideal for guests seeking an authentic Spanish retreat, far from tourist-heavy areas yet close enough to enjoy a taste of local life. Whether you’re looking for peace, comfort, or a mix of both, this villa offers a genuine slice of Spain in a setting that’s both beautiful and convenient.

YOUR REVIEWS

Isobel | September | 2024

Absolutely charming! The rooms are beautifully furnished and the whole house is really spacious. Our family of seven enjoyed our stay there very much! The location is peaceful and nature around the house is beautiful. There are nice hiking trails nearby- The eating out options we found quite limited, but enjoyed cooking in the house ourselves. Maarten is a great host responding very quickly and caretakers Lola and Fernando took care of everything at no time at all. We would definitely want to stay in this house again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay in natural surroundings!

Lovely stay at Maarten’s house with group of 10 adults and 6 young kids (6 months to 3). House was beautiful, large grounds great for kids to run around in and plenty of space. Maarten and the housekeeper Lola we’re really helpful and nice. We were a little concerned about no aircon before but the temperature did drop at night and house kept out heat well so wasn’t an issue. Would definitely come again!
