Just 50 km away from the vibrant city of Barcelona and a short drive to the beaches of the Costa Dorada. Large 20 metre pool. Sleeps 14 plus 2 children.

  • The large swimming pool is open all year. The pool heating system is planned for Autumn 2022 and it will usually be effective from March to November. 

  • The patio pool is open all year but not heated. The normal swimming season here is May to September (inclusive).

  • Events (such as weddings) may be permitted on request and under additional conditions (always check before you book). Please ask us.

  • Catalonia tourist tax must be paid to the proprietor on arrival. The tax is 1 euros per night for each person of of 16 years and over (for the first 7 nights only).

  • A refundable security deposit of 2000 euros applies to this property. This sum is payable to the keyholder on arrival (by credit card swipe) and subject to deductions for breakages/damage, unpaid local charges (when applicable) or exceptional cleaning.

Notes on facilities

-The lift (elevator) allows guests with reduced mobility to easily access the different floors in this property. 

-The heated pool system is planned to be ready for Autumn 2022. It will be solar and will work with an electric cover to retain the warmth built up during the day. This facility is not available in hot months when the pool heating system is not required.

-Event's facilities like industrial kitchen, canopies are only available for events when this have been accepted in writing by the property manager. 

-There is a walk-in fridge that can be available on request.

Extras

-Up to 2 hours of general cleaning is included from Monday to Friday (working days).

-Rubbish collection is included (please recycle as intructed locally).

-A reasonable amount of coffee is provided for the proffesional coffee maker, but not capsules for the Nespresso machine.

-Pre stocking service may be available on previous request. Service price subject to complexity of food order. Payable locally.

-Extra cleaning services may be available on previous request. Payable locally.

-Wine and Olive oil tastings may be available on previous request. Payable locally.

-There is a lift in this property so floors can be accesible to people with reduced mobility.

-Additional beds for up to 2 children can be placed in bedrooms, this allows to increase the villa capacity from 14 people to 14 plus 2 children.

-Two bedrooms can be made as twin bedded.

-All beds are king size and the master bedoom emperor size.

Overview

In the spring of 2022, we saw the debut of this bright and spectacular holiday villa and at Rustical Travel we are proud to offer it to you as one of our most pristine and luxurious holiday options. This historical house has been totally renovated and modernized, its origins being an 18th century hostel for pilgrims and other travellers on the old Roman road that passes by.

Your holiday home is set in an authentic working finca, abundant with vineyards and olive groves. On a raised position you will feel like "Lord or Lady of the Manor" having an overview of the fruits and with the possibility of joining in with the grape harvest towards the end of August and the olive harvest in October, all handpicked! You can also taste and purchase the produce locally.

This property has been renovated to the highest of standards using very advanced building techniques with the comforts of the clients being at the heart of the plan. Its thick stone walls are actually one of the most traditional effective systems to maintain coolness in summer and heat in the winter.

The style is a combination of classy, contemporary, smooth and simple design, adopting the most natural and discreet materials...stunning stonework, wonderful wood, exquisite tiles and more!

The owners have not skimped on any detail and have supplied designer furniture and finishings as well as a variety of advanced technology.

We love the essence of this property, as we find the highest of standards being driven by a desire of sustainability and ecology, so needed in our precious world. The property owners apply a policy in which they are as resourceful as possible using their own means. Although the house is connected to the mains, it mainly relies on its own water via a well and its own electricity via solar panels.

So now, let's explore this great holiday retreat and find out how you can relax and have fun. First, we should mention the superb 20-metre-long swimming pool.

From this wonderful spot you will witness the most stunning sunsets over the rolling Catalonian hills.

There is a second pool, this one being a secluded small patio pool, reminiscent of those you find in a Moroccan riad, surrounded by stylish tiles and potted plants.

This gem of a pool is perfect for a quick refreshing plunge, maybe to wake you up before breakfast or merely to refresh yourself during the heat of the day. Both pools are salt water filtered.

The cooking facilities are excellent! From Le Creuset cooking pots to professional coffee makers, you will find everything.

You even have a variety of fridges, including ice making ones to walk-in fridges. Then, you can enjoy your meals in the elegant dining room with its doors opening on to the breakfast area and to your exotic Arabic pool. A dip in-between courses is optional!

The large living area is gorgeous...light and airy...comfortable and cosy, we gave the feng shui score a ten out of ten.

Upstairs you will find beautiful spacious bedrooms with big comfy beds, chic bathrooms and gorgeous views. A recipe for a satisfying sleep.

This property is a perfect option for intimate holidays, but is also great for larger parties. Extra facilities are available for events, such as an amazing canopied area and an industrial kitchen. However, if you wish to use these extra facilities, please make sure you specifically ask for the event's conditions beforehand.

With 30 acres of private vineyards and pine woods belonging to the finca, this is the place to embrace open air living. The royal pathway that passes by the property enables you to enjoy a local walk among pine trees and visit local old chapels ...if you fancy stretching your legs instead of driving.

And whether you are a city explorer or a beachcomber, this spot next to the Costa Dorada delivers the best of both worlds. Coastal walks and a myriad of untouched beaches are waiting only 20-25 minutes away, and in less than an hour you could be gazing at Gaudi’s cathedral in bright Barcelona.

Those wanting to stay closer to home will find local villages less than 10 minutes’ drive away, brimming with bars, shops and restaurants and specializing in the finest Catalonian food and wine.

As a holiday venue the qualities and possibilities of both, this fabulous house and terrific region are outstanding.
