Overview

At the foot of the Sierra de Grazalema and towards the beautiful city of Arcos de la Frontera, we find this region of extensive farms with irrigated cultivation fields.

In this suggestive purely Andalusian landscape, we find this 50,000 m2 farm with its 3-bedroom farmhouse, pool and gardens.

It is an exceptional place if we seek total privacy without giving up having views.

The farm, when accessed after traveling 3 km of rural track, could be considered as somewhat remote, but it is flat and easy to navigate, even though they are unmade roads.

The town of Prado del Rey is only 4 km from the farm, although it is true that the immediate surroundings, being rural tracks, increase the distance in time to reach these populations. Even so, the magnificent city of Arcos de la Frontera built on a rock, or the vibrant nature of Sierra de Grazalema are little more than 20 minutes from the house.

This farm has 500 olive trees in its lower part, apparently not one more nor one less. And it produces the coveted virgin olive oil from acebuche (native wild olive trees). The owners sell this exclusive oil on a very small scale, so you can request to buy one of these bottles and savor the nature of the terrain of your vacation home.

For the rest we find in the accommodation a high level of comfort and equipment.

It is a fresh style house decorated with great taste, without Ikea elements; The furniture and finishes show a clear commitment by the owners to quality.

The main room is superior to the other two rooms, because of its additional space, because it has an en-suite bathroom and because the views from it are tremendous. It is on the first floor as a loft attached to the back of the house. It is a very cheerful room and the windows bring light.

Although the ceiling in this room is sloping, and in somewhat low areas, we did not find it low enough to compromise comfort.

Outside, the furniture did not disappoint us either, and we found various corners to relax, take a nap, read or sunbathe, to a formal terrace furnished with an awning, very conveniently located next to the interior kitchen / dining area.

Outdoors we have total privacy, as we will not be exposed to other houses. You also have uninterrupted views. The Sierra de Grazalema is behind and we will only see the imposing summit of the Torreón when we approach the farm.

The pool maintenance manager comes to the house twice a week and can even beep to warn guests, so your privacy is something that the owners take into account.

During the vegetable season, the same maintainer also tends a garden behind the house and supplies the guests with produce from the garden. A courtesy that our customers will appreciate during production time.

Welcome to this idyllic setting in the magical province of Cádiz!

Anna | August | 2023

This is a stunning property. The design and decor is beautiful, and as a garden designer, the outdoor space was an absolutely joy. It is amazingly well equipped, and the owners were very helpful - and their olive oil was delicious! It is an isolated property with bumpy access roads, but well worth the effort if you are after peace and quiet with stunning views. El Bosque a lovely village with 'buen ambiente'. Gracias."

The property was even better than expected. The photos don't do it justice. This is a seriously swanky 'casa' with great views, very well equipped kitchen and luxury accommodation. Jamie was super helpful and had kindly provided a starter pack of wine and beer for us. He was very helpful and arranged a tour of his bodega for us. The gardener (Diego) was also a lovely guy and even gave us some of his produce which was delicious. Some may not like the isolation and the 'interesting' approach road but we loved everything about RD131. Rustical Travel was also superb; easy to deal with, fast response to queries, automated despatch of (very helpful) information at the right intervals. I'd recommend them."

Everything you can imagine in a wonderfull villa setting is this quality house for sure. Even better than pictures tell you when you book this house. The house, the garden and all features are great! There is a small road heading for the villa over 3 km, Little hard to travel on this path but once you arrive you’ll find yourselves in paradise! Thank you so much Jaime for this stay!
