Overview

True to traditional Andalusian architecture and style, the main entrance to the house is through a typical patio andaluz prettily decorated with flower pots and a lovely fountain: sunny breakfasts or a drink at dusk here are a very attractive prospect! For occasions when the whole family is dining al fresco, a larger dining terrace –conveniently accessible from the living room and the kitchen– looking out to the Ronda Mountains is perfect to enjoy outdoor living and spend memorable summer evenings together.

The villa and grounds enjoy complete privacy. The pool area is lawned and mature oak trees provide natural shade to relax after a refreshing swim in the swimming pool.

Inside, the house is luminous and spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The comfortable living room is decorated in fine old world country style with some antique furniture pieces and large comfortable sofas, as well as a more formal dining area. French doors open to the furnished and shaded terrace and the gardens.

The living and dining area also connects to a fairly complete kitchen, as well as a more cheerful dining area by a beautiful picture window looking out to the gardens.

An ample queen size double bedroom and a study room providing extra space complete the ground floor. The study room can accommodate two extra guests on the sofa bed if requested in advance.

Two more large bedrooms, one double and one twin, are located on the first floor, the former featuring en suite facilities. They are connected by a sunny furnished terrace running along the façade: the mountain scenery is beautiful from here.

This villa is excellent for relaxation, but with its own practice golf course, an all weather tennis court, swings, table tennis, a tree house by the pool area, a sauna room, a football pitch and even a piano, all tastes and ages are catered for in terms of fun, entertainment and exercise!

Providing previous clients have taken due care of them, three bikes are available: the more adventurous types in the group will love a ride in the mornings in beautiful and unspoilt Mediterranean country scenery.

Dating from long passed times, an old threshing floor just outside the house is a curiosity some will definitely find interesting to see: senior locals know this as an era in Spanish but we doubt many people have actually ever seen one.

Just a short drive away from the villa is Ronda town, a southern gem of outstanding beauty. And if you like good tapas and wine, you are in the right place: all tastes and budgets are spoilt for choice in Ronda. 

More than a few artists have found inspiration in historic Ronda, the impressive scenery and the local traditions, as the creation of Orson Welles and Ernest Hemingway go to show. They also chose their beloved Ronda for long summer stays: they can't have been wrong!

Great location and very nice villa, very good pool and tennis court. Very clean and great welcome pack. Hosts excellent. Only shame was that the practice golf holes were badly affected by the dry weather, course plan would have helped to locate the tees more easily, having said that still good fun to try to play. Would highly recommend for those wanting some activity during their stay."

We enjoyed the villa. The facilities were excellent. We used the tennis court, the golf practice holes, the table tennis, the swimming pool. We enjoyed visiting Ronda and we appreciated the recommendation of La Muelle Restaurant in Arriette where we had an excellent evening. We had trouble operating the external security system to the parchite and on two occasions, we had to climb over the external fencing to be able to leave to join the A367. This was eventually fixed. Also it would have been helpful to have had a spare fob to the exit gate to the property as we had two cars. But a very nice holiday and we appreciated being left with the food to greet us on arrival, for which many thanks"
