Villa rental with private pool in Antequera, the heart of Andalucia

We absolutely loved our stay here. The setting in just beautiful and you are immediately relaxed. Loved the pool and the fact that both bedrooms had en suites! We love cooking so could do with a bit more storage and utensils and perhaps a hob upgrade but other than that - magic ❤️ x"

We really enjoyed our stay at El Encinar. The pool and the views are fantastic. The food and wine at Hotel Fuente Del Sol was also fantastic and great to have this a short walk away. We felt the villa could have been a little better equipped (items in the kitchen could have been better and the sun loungers and pool towels may need to be replaced soon) and also some of the electrical items need to be fixed (E.g washing machine door, fans and light bulbs replaced). We would go back again as we were comfortable and the negatives can be easily rectified. We also thought information / liaison provided by Rustical Travel and the Hotel were excellent."

Excellent location with stunning views. Very private and quiet (apart from the goats!!) Just what we wanted and expected. It was good to have the hotel near for occasional meals. Villa was very comfortable although there was a lack of storage space in the kitchen. garden and pool very well maintained. We did have to go to the hotel and remind them to change linen and towels after the first week which they did very swiftly and there was no problem the following week. There was a very comprehensive booklet. Directions were good but maybe you could include distances between places/turnings?. Be assured we were very happy with the villa and none of the above would put us off going again."

We have nothing but positive things to say about this property. We loved everything about it - not least the incredible views! It was spacious, clean, quiet, private, comfortable, and totally relaxing. The thoughtful presentation and welcoming touches made us feel pampered and at home straight away. We were very sad indeed to leave (we are a family, kids 10 and 13)"

We very much enjoyed our holiday at AX21. The property was exactly what we expected from your description and pictures and the location was just what we were looking for. We would love to come back another time, for a longer period! We did not make use of the facilities at the neighbouring hotel, but they were kind enough to lend us some coffee when we forget to buy some, and accepted our luggage, which missed our plane, the day after our arrival, allowing us to go out on our planned day trip and not have to wait around for our luggage to be delivered. A real bonus to having a property manager nearby! The directions to the property provided by Rustical Travel were straightforward and simple to follow - and when our luggage needed to be delivered the next day, I gave your printed directions to the airport clerk, she phoned the hotel phone number you provided, and they sent her the same instructions in Spanish for their driver. What more could you ask for? We have used several European Rental agencies over the past 18 years, and Rustical Travel gave us the best service by a mile. The ease of booking, the value of the price paid, the quality of the local information and directions, and the accurate depiction of the property were all first class. We will definitely use you again in the future, and will be recommending you to others. Thanks for a great holiday!"

We thought the cottage was excellent. We enjoyed the welcome pack. Had to ask for the swimming pool to be topped up. The water supply to the property stopped two or three times. The staff at the hotel were always polite and helpful but not terribly proactive. The lovely views made it all worthwhile."

We would certainly book with you again when we next visit Spain. The only minor points of concern were: 1. The hotel had a party on our final night with music late into the morning. 2. Whilst directions to the property were very good, it is worth reminding customers that the mountain roads are quite narrow and isolated, as we did wonder at one point if we were still on the right road! This house is everything we hoped for. The shopping we found on our arrival went way beyond our expectations and was very thoughtful of you. Breakfast on Sunday was perfect and just what we wanted.
