Overview

This village house is nicely arranged around an attractive courtyard with a fountain. It has the feel of a Moorish palace! It is a lovely welcome, and in our visit, we could imagine arriving in the evening after a meal out in the village at your lit courtyard with the fountain working and being so inviting to get back to your villa.

You do not need to worry about parking; this property has a garage, and you can park securely in the property. You get a large family car or two small cars. This is a great bonus!

As it is a village house located by the main square and the village church, you may wonder how quiet it will be here and whether the outdoor patios and pool area will be private. On our visit, we found the location to be quiet and private. Although other properties surround you, you are not directly overlooked. The property managers confirmed that it is, generally speaking, a quiet place where to enjoy tranquillity but still a super short stroll to a great little supermarket with an excellent butcher and a popular tapas bar or the village bakery.

Two bedrooms face the front of the property, looking onto the main square, but the others are at the back, looking to the patio or courtyard and are the quietest bedrooms.

The pool area may be a popular spot in this property, but what's just as popular is the top terrace mirador with amazing views and seating areas for relaxing. What a lovely spot!

The local butcher, one minute walk away, can provide great meat to cook in the gas barbecue. Yes we are told this butcher makes amazing sausages, black pudding (morcilla) and chorizo! The barbecue can be used any time of year, with the kitchen next to the barbecue terrace, and there are tables and chairs for everyone, it is all handy here for an easy al fresco eating experience!

The layout of the property around the courtyard, with its Moorish style, makes this accommodation attractive for families and groups of friends and an authentic Andalusian experience.

Thanks to underfloor heating throughout the house and some details such as heated towel railings, this house is also ideal for winter lets, so what we offer here is a 4 seasons village house.

You are in the heart of the Lecrin Valley, renowned for its almond, orange, and lemon orchards, lies Pinos del Valle—a quintessential Spanish town with deep historical roots. Unaffected by tourism, it maintains a strong connection to its Moorish heritage, as evidenced by its Arabic influences.

Local activities from this village include a picnic by the Beznar lake/reservoir just below the village or a wall up the Cristo del Zapato (Christ's Shoes) mountain hermitage, a steep walk among pine forests but with a rewarding end at the curious hermitage with views to die for.

Positioned near the vibrant heartbeat of Granada city and the sun-drenched appeal of the Tropical coast, this villa acts as a gateway to cultural richness and seaside relaxation for day trips.

Lisa | October | 2024

We had a fantastic stay at this incredible house in Spain! It's a spacious home with a pool, courtyards, a roof terrace, and a large patio, perfect for entertaining. The fully fitted kitchen, complete with a grill, had everything we needed. Each room is generously sized and charming with underfloor heating. Nestled in a lovely local village, we enjoyed visits to the bakery and pub, and it's also close to stunning hiking trails. We highly recommend this house and can't wait to rent it again!

We enjoyed a week at this stunning villa, reuniting with our friends from Canada. With 7 of us, including 3 children, the villa effortlessly accommodated everyone, offering plenty of space for relaxation and activities. The entertaining areas, including a central courtyard, a spacious roof terrace, a delightful pool area, and patio, were all fantastic. The views and location were perfect too!

Situated in a hillside village, this place boasts breathtaking views and fantastic walking trails. The local shop, just 30 feet away, provides for most of your needs and also houses the village butcher, renowned for their homemade chorizo and air-cured ham. A bakery is conveniently nearby, and Bar Venecia serves as the village's sole watering hole, offering complimentary local tapas with every round of cervezas ordered. The house itself is spacious, cosy, and inviting, capturing your attention from the moment you step into the open-air courtyard to enjoying the scenery from the second-floor terrace.
