  • When the entire property is booked at the reduced rates for 8 people, 4 bedrooms only are available; for 9 or 10 people: 5 bedrooms; for 11 or 12 people: 6 bedrooms; for 13 or 14 people: 7 bedrooms; for 15 or 16 people: 8 bedrooms. The other bedrooms remain closed and unused. All price combinations give you private and exclusive use of the property.

  • A refundable security deposit of 500 euros applies to this property. When you make a booking you authorize for this sum to be held against your card subject to deductions for breakages/damage, unpaid local charges (when applicable) or exceptional cleaning.

Notes on layout / sleeping arrangements

On previous request twin bedded room can be prepared as double bedded.

Bedroom 1 to 5 are accessed externally via a hallway. This hallway is accessed from front patio. Bedroom 5 also has access from terrace viewpoint.

Bedroom 6 is accessed from terrace viewpoint and also from front patio.

Bedroom 7 and 8 are accessed internally but can also be accessed externally.

Bedroom 8 is the best suite for people who may have (a relative) reduced mobility.

Each bedroom has a key-card.

Overview

This beautiful luxurious home was once a grain and olive mill. After a massive renovation in 2023, this has become an ideal accommodation for gatherings.

Large families or groups will appreciate the comfort and style as well as the possibility to arrange cooking and other services which are included, like daily room services.

You can feel well looked after at this property. All you have to do is relax; almost everything can be arranged for you. You have the option to arrange cooking services, eat out locally or make the most of the self-catering facilities at this property.

There is an additional kitchen, so this becomes useful if cooking services are requested.

Although you are at the heart of the lovely village of Albuñuelas, once inside, the pool and gardens are totally private; it feels like a genuine oasis in an unpretentious but lovely village. 

On our visit, we thought this was a property ideal for grown-ups, a place where families or groups can have their own space without fighting over the best bedrooms.

The standards are high, each bedroom has its key, every space offers good comfort, and although there is a boutique hotel feel, this is a house entirely for you.

The style of the property is told in the photos, one of these stylish properties that make it into country homes magazines. 

We like the little village of Albuñuelas; it offers some places to go out for a drink, tapa or meal, and although the options are limited, we thought they were pretty good for a village like this.

It is one of the favourite places in the Lecrin Valley where this village is to be found. You are next to the lovely countryside but also halfway between the magic of Granada city and the exotic Costa Tropical with lovely beaches, fish restaurants and endless groves of tropical fruit.

It's a fantastic villa. Spacious, comfortable, and meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail. Also, there's a covered porch next to the pool that's very refreshing, in addition to the pool's relaxation area, where you can be in the water as if you were at the shore. Unexpectedly, there are nearby excursions. The beds are very comfortable, and you sleep like royalty, with no noise despite being in the centre of the village.

Away from touristy areas, adorned with Moroccan-inspired decor, providing a genuine change of scenery (unless you happen to be Spanish) and offering the experience of living in a typical village. We greatly enjoyed the ambiance, local life, and the strategic location between Grenada and the coastline. The chance to enjoy a refreshing sea swim amid crowds and then return to tranquility was a unique highlight. Exploring the Alhambra, wandering through the gardens and narrow streets of Grenada, navigating the August crowds, dining in charming squares, followed by a short drive leading to serenity within 30 minutes - it all added to the appeal. If air conditioning is a must for you, this residence might not be the best fit. However, the joy of opening all the windows and savoring the mild air compensated for any potential discomfort. We didn't find the heat, even in 40°C, to be a significant issue. The host is fantastic - accommodating and attentive. It's an unconventional place that we wholeheartedly recommend.
